New Breath is a quit-smoking toolkit brand campaign created for people who are trying to let go of smoking but don’t need unrealistic promises. It isn’t a quick fix or an overnight cure. Instead, it focuses on slowly reshaping daily routines and replacing familiar habits with healthier alternatives.
The toolkit mirrors the rituals that often make smoking hard to quit. A pack of gum fits into your pocket where cigarettes or a vape once did. A fidget cube recreates the subtle clicking of a lighter. A mini reflection journal offers space to process triggers and progress. An aromatherapy oil roller helps ease anxiety, irritability, and cravings.
Rather than shaming addiction, New Breath meets people where they are, this helps encourage small, intentional shifts toward a healthier routine.
The New Breath brand symbols act as quiet reinforcements of the toolkit’s healing message, visually echoing the idea of renewal throughout the campaign.
Twins of Reliance
New Breath’s brand philosophy lies in ensuring that people understand that having both lungs is essential for living a fulfilling, active life. The development of the New Breath Canvas first began with the Twins of Reliance. As a Gemini myself, something about Castor and Pollux’s story feels beautiful and inspiring to me. The twins were inseparable, and because Pollux loved Castor so much, he pleaded with Zeus to share his immortality after Castor died in battle.
What I took away from the Greek story is that siblings rely on one another, and your lungs share a similar devotion. With both lungs, you are able to fully perform in life: walking, running, jumping, even rolling around in the grass. The Twins of Reliance are designed to represent anyone. You can see them as twins, siblings, best friends, romantic partners, or even a parent and child. Whoever they are, both of them know they love and rely on each other to live a well-balanced life.
If you weaken or destroy one lung by smoking, the other lung is left alone and forced to carry the weight on its own.
Renewal Daffodil
Daffodils symbolize rebirth and new beginnings. When using the toolkit, your first thought might be that you want to quit smoking. Maybe you’re unsure. But gradually changing your routines to smoke less and less is powerful on its own. It’s not about saying, “Oh, I want to quit by tomorrow or next week.” It’s more about self-reflection and discovering things about yourself.
What is something you want to renew within yourself? What old habits are harming your relationships or other aspects of your life? True renewal comes from what your heart and mind genuinely desire.
Vitality Vines
The Vitality Vines hold bonds, strength, hope, and growth. When you believe in yourself, the vines thicken. Everything around you begins to grow. Colors start to feel like colors again when your vision is free from the clouds of smoke. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and the sun has never been more golden.
