About

New Breath is a quit-smoking toolkit brand campaign designed for people ready to let go of smoking without relying on unrealistic promises. Rather than offering a quick fix, it focuses on gradually reshaping daily routines and replacing familiar habits with healthier alternatives. The toolkit mirrors the rituals that make smoking difficult to quit: a pack of gum replaces cigarettes or a vape, a fidget cube mimics the click of a lighter, a mini reflection journal helps process triggers and progress, and an aromatherapy oil roller eases anxiety, irritability, and cravings. Instead of shaming addiction, New Breath meets people where they are, encouraging small, intentional shifts toward a healthier routine. I made New Breath with multiple poetic layers, including embedding miniature poems to promote the brand itself. I also designed the main branmark and then I went ahead and made three additional brand motifs. The first motif are the Twins of Reliance and they're based off my astrological sign, the Gemini Twins. The story of Castor and Pollux inspired me because Pollux couldn't live without Castor. I see lungs as if they're a pair of inseparable twins that rely on each other to keep the human body being able to breathe. As cigarettes and vapes can damage your lungs. The Twins of Reliance are designed to represent anyone universally, such as twins, siblings, romantic partners, and even a parent and child. My second brand motif is the Renewal Daffodil. Daffodils symbolize rebirth and new beginnings. I want people who struggle with smoking addiction to feel like they're starting fresh when they're using the toolkit. I believe true renewal comes from what your heart and mind desires. The third motif are the Vitality Vines, which hold strength, hope, and growth. When you believe in yourself, the vines thicken. Everything around you grows and colors begin to feel like colors again.
